JOB PROFILE
Essential Functions
Information Risk Managers (IRM's) are responsible for COMPANY or Client security and information assurance concerns. IRM's are responsible for identifying and delivering enterprise information risk management (EIRM) services required by COMPANY or clients. EIRM leadership is provided by IRM's at all stages of client development, i.e., during the proposal phase (RFI's & RFP's, Rapid Review), during due diligence (Go-live scanning), during transition (consulting), and during operational phases (Audit and process compliance). IRM's represent the Information Security in a complete line of service for all clients, and provide sound technical, business, and operational planning, execution, and reporting.
Essential Knowledge:
Participate in Information Risk Management security review meetings
Oversee, audit and enforce security configurations where implemented
Oversee, assess and remediate assessment and tracking of security vulnerabilities; maintain patching and customer vulnerability notification policy; responsible for writing and distributing vulnerability notifications to regional service delivery managers
Lead incident response teams and maintain incident handling policy and procedure
Develop, maintain, and review appropriate client security policies and procedures.
Provide periodic and adhoc security training for staff to increase visibility of security in their daily functions
Identify, escalate and remediate physical security issues within support or data centers.
Lead client audits of their environments, providing liaison between COMPANY and client auditors or 3rd party auditors.
Essential Education
Eng degree or equivalent security experience
CISSP or CISA preferred
Essential Skills
Desirable skills also include having the ability to mentor in various operating system environments, e.g., Wintel, UNIX variants, and CISCO as they relate to the information security discipline.
Customer interface skills must be first rate. Must demonstrate oral and written ability to communicate with senior corporate executives.
Must possess the ability to work independently, with a can-do, get the job done attitude
