The India Task Force has conducted meetings with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and is working to draft guidelines for all the entities falling under SEBI, i.e., registrars, underwriters, depositories, brokers, bankers to the issue, listed companies, exchanges, custodians and clearing houses. The National Stock Exchange has recognized CISA's for conducting systems audits. CERT-Government of India has listed CISA's for government information assurance work. The task force has agreed to draft guidelines for the CEO's/MD's/boards on IT due diligence under the IT Act of 2000 for the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FICCI). The task force, through the local chapter members and CISA's, has been facilitating in providing appropriate faculty support to the Consultative Advisory Group of International Center for Information Systems Audit, as well as its regional training institutes across the country for conducting training on information audit and security topics. Other meetings have been conducted with state governments of India and Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The task force is interacting with the Company Law Board, Department of Company Affairs and Comptroller and Auditor General of India.
